Action for Rural Development (ARD) is a CBC-empanelled and NSDC-recognized communication agency offering integrated, end-to-end media solutions under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
From conceptualization to grassroots execution, ARD bridges the communication gap between policy and people — delivering campaigns that resonate with citizens in the deepest rural pockets of India, across States, Districts, Blocks and Gram Panchayats.
ARD has emerged as a one-stop 360° communication partner, combining creativity, community participation, and technology for impactful IEC (Information, Education, Communication) and BCC (Behaviour Change Communication) initiatives.
Strategy & Design
Major Activities:
- Campaign conceptualization aligned with Government objectives and regional context.
- Development of scheme-specific creative content for rural and semi-urban audiences.
- Designing posters, brochures, manuals, training kits, calendars, and brand collaterals.
- Creation of digital graffiti concepts, local-language slogans, and visual storyboards.
Print & Outdoor Media
Major Activities:
- Hoardings, flex banners, and wall paintings designed and installed at State, District Block & GP levels.
- Graffiti and digital reflector boards at public hotspots for continuous visibility of Govt Schemes.
- T-Shirt, cap, and bag branding for field workers, beneficiaries, of events.
- Kiosk and stall setup at rural exhibitions, melas, and government programs.
- Production and supply of IEC kits containing posters, stickers, booklets, and pamphlets.
Audio-Visual Communication
Major Activities:
- Concept development and production of short films, reels, documentaries, and jingles.
- Video ads (up to 60 seconds) customized for social media and regional television.
- Voice-over and dubbing in local languages to maximize relatability.
- Projector-based awareness shows in villages and prominent places across Districts, Blocks and Gram Panchayats.
- Audio message dissemination via loudspeakers, community radio, and WhatsApp and other medium of broadcasting.
Digital & Social Media Outreach
Major Activities:
- Design and management of social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Geo-targeted posts and sponsored ads focusing on local demographics.
- Call Center Support and IVR Outreach for query handling and citizen engagement.
- Social Media Campaigns for wider reach to the last milestone.
Community & Cultural Engagement
Major Activities:
- Nukkad Nataks, folk performances, and flash mobs for social awareness and behavior change.
- Mega rural fairs, school seminars, and public rallies for participatory mobilization
- Capacity Building & Oreintation Programs for government, semi-government officials, PRIs, and community representatives.
- Workshops and seminars for local influencers, teachers, and women groups.
- Street plays and mobile exhibitions highlighting success stories and government benefits.
Event & Program Management
Major Activities:
- Planning and execution of awareness events, workshops, and conferences.
- VIP & dignitary program orientation, including logistics and stage management.
- Public events and mela setups with branding kiosks and digital screens.
- Stakeholder meets and state-level conventions under JJM, SBM and MSDE missions.
- Documentation & Photography Units for on-ground and post-event reporting.
Capacity Building & Institutional Strengthening
Major Activities:
- Conducting training-of-trainers (ToT) sessions and orientation workshops.
- Capacity building of government officers, community leaders, SHGs, and field functionaries.
- Specialized scheme orientation modules under NSDC programs for youth and officials.

- Promoting digital literacy and social awareness among rural women and youth.
Monitoring, Documentation & Impact Assessment

- Photo and video documentation of field activities for real-time reporting.
- Creation of District-Wise Impact Booklets for scheme visibility.
- Impact assessment studies and event documentation highlighting community response.
- Preparation of verification reports for Ministries and State Missions.
